Logistics by SLP are providers of logistics management and consulting services in the fields of transportation, distribution, and supply chain management of products.

Our principal has been involved in Logistics for more than twenty years with experience

from the loading dock to the boardrooms of major retail and third party logistics companies.

For your information, a copy of Jeff Ashcroft’s resume has been included as Appendix I of this proposal and his biography is shown below.

 

Biography

 

Jeff Ashcroft is a Logistics Professional with more than twenty years experience in the

Retailing, Distribution, Systems, Third Party Logistics and Supply Chain Management

business areas.

 

Jeff’s career began with The Hudson’s Bay Company where over 15 years he moved from a part time role on the warehouse floor to one of the most senior Logistics positions in the firm. In 1993, the trend towards Third Party Logistics led him to join the Tibbett & Britten Group as Director of Business Development where he developed, secured and implemented the national distribution and transportation network for

Wal-Mart when they entered Canada in 1994.

 

Following this Jeff then became Vice President & General Manager of Crosslink Distribution Inc. which firm he built from concept to fully operational Efficient Replenishment Supply Chain business.

 

In 1997, Jeff launched Strategic Logistics Partners providing unique and innovative services to firms on the leading edge of Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Auto-ID and Electronic Commerce.  At Strategic Logistics Partners, Ashcroft developed and lead the Supply Chain Network ProjectÒ a complex and world leading RFID and supply chain management industry initiative. Jeff’s most recent role was Vice President, Logistics/Supply Chain at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (Canada), where he was also the PwC Canadian Retail Advisory Leader.
